TC officially ended the 2006 season at the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Awards Banquet in mid-December, accepting his award for finishing third in the WMT Season Championship point standings. He had many people to thank for his success, including former car owner Jim Galante, current car owner Eddie Whelen, crew chief Brad LaFontaine, long-time friend Richie Niemiec and the crew of the #36.
As is usually the case, Teddy will be opening the 2007 season in February at the 41st Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida. Once again TC will be doing double duty at New Smyrna, driving the Al-Lee Installations #36 Modified as well as the #29 Super Late Model for car owner Jay Cushman and his Cushman Competition team. Once the season begins up north Teddy will again run the full WMT schedule with the Eddie Whelan team. Other races are being planned and will be announced here when finalized.
Everyone at Ted Christopher Racing wishes our many fans and friends a joyous holiday season and all the best in the New Year.
