On Friday, June 9, as part of an ongoing federal investigation of the business practices of team owner Jim Galante, the Federal Bureau of Investigation seized all assets of Mystique Motorsports. Effective immediately, all facets of the team’s operation have been disbanded.
TC’s future racing plans are uncertain at this time. He will be driving for car owner Eddie Whelan in a backup car at Jennerstown Speedway this Saturday on the Whelen Modified Tour as a teammate to Mike Andrews, Jr. This is for one race only at this time. Ted is currently assessing his options and will make decisions about his future racing endeavors in the coming weeks. When those decisions are finalized we will make the appropriate announcements here.
“All of us at Mystique Motorsports want to thank Jim Galante for his years of support and wish him the very best as he works through the legal process,” states TC. “Right now my racing future is undecided. I am actively looking into all possible options and will make a decision shortly. Once I have something definite in place I will make an announcement on my future racing schedule. I want to thank Eddie Whelan and his team for giving me the opportunity to race with them at Jennerstown. Many people have offered me their support and encouragement in this very difficult time and I want them all to know how deeply I appreciate all of them. My desire to continue racing remains as strong as ever and I am just trying to sort out the best possible path for the future. But rest assured I will continue to race.”
And now it is on to Jennerstown. Let’s go racing!
