Last weekend was a quiet one for TC. He raced his #13 SK Modified at Stafford on Friday night, and then took the rest of the weekend off. Plans to run the John Jensen SK at Waterford were pushed back for one week.
At Stafford Teddy and the crew have been fine tuning the SK and believe they are close to winning. On Friday night he was chasing Woody Pitkat for the win until a late race caution derailed his effort and TC had to settle for second.
“I was working to set up a pass for the lead but that late caution killed us,” explained Teddy. “There’s no outside groove at Stafford right now. This week we made more changes to the car and I think we’re going to be tough to beat this Friday night.”
TC returns to Stafford on Friday night for a regular show. On Saturday he will drive the #11 Czarnecki Brothers Modified in a 100-lap True Value Modified Racing Series event at Waterford Speedbowl. Teddy will be doing double duty at the Bowl, driving the Jensen #79 in the regular weekly SK Modified 35-lap feature.
It’s time to get back in Victory Lane!
